We invite you to join us for a two hour street corner antiwar protest. We are going to have a celebration and invite all of our former comrades, old and new friends to join us with snacks and drinks. The two wars are still going strong while indigent people resist. Mr. Bush has lost the wars and continues to bomb, maim and kill innocent Iraqi, Afghanistani and Pakistanis. A new war was started in Pakistan and threats of a war against Iran are promised while racism, empire and bellicose are rendered shamelessly from Republican and Democratic candidates. How many years will these senseless wars last? When will Palestine be Free?

When will the wars end? "When you want it!" John Lennon

Please join us. We few are still there and welcome your presence on this special day. Bring a treat, a snack or drinks. Bring your children and dogs. We stand up to the Evil Empire seven years later, thousands and thousands of deaths, of bombing and torture. We are still there at Bristol & Anton and we stand proud.

Norwich: FREE MOVIE - "Stealing America: Vote by Vote." October 21, 2008, 5:30pm, Otis Library, Community Room, 261 Main StreetNorwich, CT 06382.

Employing first-person accounts, extensive research and telling clips gleaned from the nightly news, Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated social issue filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman shines a spotlight on the gritty reality of the last decades most egregious incidents of U.S electoral insecurity. For more than 20 years, exit polls accurately predicted U.S. election results. Over the last 10 years, that reliability has progressively disappeared. Whats going on?Stealing America unveils patterns of anomalies at every level of the electoral process. Controversial partnerships perpetuate a secretive environment, as relevant facts and figures remain hidden from view. As a result, most Americans have no real sense of the threat to free and fair elections. As seemingly unrelated pieces of the puzzle come together, a chilling picture emerges of widespread, artfully crafted glitches that, in the final tallies, have the capacity to alter election results. Throughout Stealing America, we hear from voters who experienced a wide range of problems, including those whose votes flipped from one candidate to another and those whose polls didnt have enough machines to serve the number of voters. With November just a bit beyond this viewing, the premier of this DVD is very timely.
